Maurice J. Austin Sr. Is the Founder & President of Austin’s Manicured Landscaping LLC.

Maurice was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1989, at the age of 8 he started working in his fathers landscaping business “Tony’s Quality Lawn Service”. Over the following years he continued to hone in on his landscaping dreams under his father until he started high school in 2003. Maurice then received his diploma from Cardinal Dougherty High School in Philadelphia, PA. He then attended Community College Of Philadelphia where he received his Associates degree in Business Management.

After college Maurice worked a few odd jobs while continuing to study landscape architecture and horticulture until he rejoined his father once again in 2013. He then worked under his fathers landscaping company from 2013 to 2016 before making the decision to start his own landscaping business. 

In the spring of 2017 Maurice purchased a pick up truck and began going door to door handing out flyers in various neighborhoods in Philadelphia. Over the following years he was able to build Austin’s Manicured Landscaping to a very lucrative and profitable business while keeping a close tight knit family environment among his employees.

In 2022 Maurice made the decision to move the headquarters to Phoenix, AZ. However, that wasn’t his only change, he also decided to do away with the landscape labor maintenance and focus all of the company efforts on strictly lawn care and luxury landscape architecture. Which dives into his true passion.

Maurice graduated from Community College Of Philadelphia with his Associates degree in Business Management. He also studied horticulture and architectural design. When Maurice launched Austin’s Manicured Landscaping, his goal was to provide executive level lawn care service to residential and commercial properties. At the same time with his luxury landscape design firm he wants to “push the boundaries on design“ and “bring the resort home”. Maurice knows clients are looking for consistency, communication, and second to none service. That is why the personal mission of Austin’s Manicured Landscaping is to push the boundaries of design and lawn care with transparent communication every step of the way. Maurice likes to get the most out of his teams creative ability by leading with a positive attitude. He also serves as president of his commercial janitorial company Austin Cleaning Services LLC. When Maurice isn’t working he enjoys playing basketball, working out, and spending time with his son
